Jean-Bernard Thomas is one of the co-founding partners of Sarrau Thomas Couderc in 2005 which became STCPARTNERS.
Prior to founding this firm, he founded Thomas & Associés law firm which became a close partner to Deloitte et Touche in 1997 and which allowed him to work as Global Managing Partner Legal Services.
In 2000, he also co-founded the parisien law firm Denton Wilde Sapte.
Jean-Bernard Thomas graduated from High Studies of Private law (Etudes supérieures de droit privé) and the Business law and compared law Institute (Université Paris II Panthéon Assas).
Former President from the ethics commission of AFIC (French Association of Capital Investors), Jean-Bernard Thomas was President of the Corporate Governance subcommission of EVCA (European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association), and member of its Professional Standards Committee.
He was a member of the legal comity of MEDEF (GPA) and France Foreign Trade advisor (Member of the Civil law Promotion Commission).
At last, Jean-Bernard Thomas is a former member of the Conseil de l’Ordre de Paris, Honorary President of ACE (Association for Business lawyers) and former Vice-President of the Conseil National des Barreaux.
